Rooks or Checkers Game
This is a fun game for native speakers and advanced students of English.
You must find all the words in a list.
There are 7 types of word lists:
- Synonyms – All the words are synonyms for the top keyword.
- Vocab – Vocabulary related to a specific topic or domain.
- Category – A few carefully selected names or items from a category, such as U.S. presidents, famous car models, or capital cities of Europe, etc.
- Polysemy – Each word is a synonym for the word above and below it, but the word above and the word below may have different meanings. The parts of speech may change too, so be careful.
- Etymology – All the words share a common latin or greek root.
- Phoneme – All the words share a common phoneme.
- Miscellanea – All the words have something in common or not.
